Looking for people that want to have some fun while enjoying a meal. You don't have to be an excellent chef- just enjoy cooking and meeting new people. We will get together in member's homes about once a month, usually on a Saturday night, and will follow a food theme. As time allows we will enjoy some games or activities. Since we will be going to member's homes we ask that you be located within the Rochester area and able to host at least 8 people. Here's how it works: We'll choose a theme and …

… while some of the foods are very pedestrian others are totally outrageous: for example, pecorino and maggot cheese (the real name is CASA MARZU) from Sardinia. any takers? ok, so we won't be going that route. Perhaps that is a little extreme, ok ok ok . . . WAY TOO EXTREME even for me!!!!!!!! alright, now that i have scared you away with visions of bug-infested cheese, head on over to that big JOIN US button and begin your own culinary journey . . . with us!

My journey has lasted for several years. Poor cholesterol number, over weight, sluggish, and aches and pains. The writing was clearly on the wall. My solution was not the up and down of starvation diet, intense work outs that I couldn't maintain...it was changing what I eat and over time my blood work moved from High Risk to Low Risk. The aches and pain went away and the weight just naturally fell away (5 bowling balls worth) We are about making our changes lasting. What eating habits and food w …
It's like a Flash Muffin Mob! Ask yourself, When was the last time someone gave you a fresh, homemade muffin? Suppose that someone was you, and the receiver a stranger? The way we see it, people just don't talk to each other anymore. It bothers us. The economy is---well, there you go. So here's a radical idea. Why not get together with a bunch of friends, make a bunch of muffins and give them away? I …
